Venice

Welcome to Venice or in the language 'Venezia'. Probbly one of the most iconic cities in the world purely floating on water. We had to get there by boat and on are approach we saw Venices Panorama. Beautiful white buildings, historic churches and...advertising? What ruined venices landscape was big billboards advertising things like phones and televisions.

Couldn't waite to dock in the city, was deffenetly a place i've always wanted to see.

We arrived on the busy dock of Venice. There were lots of people it was insane and very hot. On are approach the boat driver told us to look out for pick pockets because there were suppose to be many of them. It felt safe enough though we did see two police pursuing one man.

Now looking down these buildings is what venice is all about, the houses narrow and sepperated by small rivers, with curved bridges curled over the water.

But where are all the...Theres one! The famous Venecian Gondalar. There were plenty of them scattered through Venice.

Are tour guide with the orange umbrella took us round the complicated streets and to all the main sites.

Conwy Castle

This is conwy castle in Whales. Whales is known for its many well proserved castles and this one was magnificent. We walked all round it and climbed up the massive watch towers.

Orginally there was knights now there are guys in blue hoodies...

Its a long way down

This is the view from the top of one of the watch towers. Yes you would deffenetly see the enemy coming up here. Was scarily high.

End of Ibiza

Well looks like we didnt take many pics in Ibiza but here are the last ones in Ibiza town.

A crazy living statue, he asked us to light up his cig, not very proffesional but he will be remembered by us, wonder if hes still doing this job?

Oh where going too Ibiza!

Yes here i am in Ibiza, 'Ibetha' is how its pronounced.

Me and my family all went together and loved it so much we've been to the same resort, the same appartments twice! really nice area with a great view of the coast. it was a pleasure waking up every morning and having this view from your appartment.

Another nice coastal picture in portugal. this was after and hour long hike up cliffs from the beach, we were exhausted and running out of water. i remember savouring every last drop as it had to last us the way back.

Here i am on the coast of portugal, I remeber it was very hot and the drive there was too long but these pictures of the cliffs made it worth while.

There was a cave cut into one of the cliffs, this was the view through it, I would love to live here, this be my window and see that view every morning.

Here i am on the cliff. The rocks look as if giant bugs have burrowed into them.

The water was freezing but the sun hot which made it so refreshing.

Here i am in sunny Portugal. Very similar to Spain in many ways. These were a few of the beaches i visited with family and friends, the water was a beautiful shade of greens and blues.

Yachts

Nice Yacht view here. Would love to own one some day but would probbly never use it. These people must be rich though to live some where like this.

Very busy beach here. Sea was packed. Looks like a great day for Jaws tocome along. Love the colours in this picture.

Me in Majorca now in 2007 another nice spanish place. Very hot and lots of beaches.  

Waves of Spain

Portduquesa beach here. Nothing special really, but the waves were huge. Best thing about the sea side in my opinion is been in the water when there massive waves like these. Enjoy a little boogie boarding.
